Thanks to everyone who worked and supported the “Kids Fishing Clinic” this past month. The venue was fantastic and no kids fell in the water. Great job Mike Sarg and Jon Kiel and all of you who helped out! We have the “Flag Day” project with our K-Kids and VFW coming up on the 21st of this month. We are also doing a “mini” service project in May, collecting infant clothing, diapers and wipes for “Seed of Hope Center” that we will present to our May 19th speaker, Laura Denk. Bring these baby items to our morning meetings. Looking ahead, on July 4th we have the Duck Derby. As soon as we have a theme we can start selling Corporate Ducks. Let Robbie know of your theme ideas. We need to sell a total of 300 corporate ducks to make our goal. So let’s be thinking about selling ducks. We still need someone to come forward to be our President-Elect for the 2016-2017 term after Jennifer Herther finishes her time as club president. This is a great way better understand to workings of Kiwanis at the local, state and international level…..Richard
