Wow!! Time goes by fast, I’m writing my last newsletter Ramblings. It has been a fast year and I have learned a lot. But, I am ready to turn this task over to Jennifer our President elect. I hope you didn’t get too tired of the jokes and I hope I didn’t repeat any. If I did I’ll chalk it up to a senior moment!! One more board meeting, and a few more meetings then I will be as they say in the Military “Figmo” It has been a very good year for our club and our many projects. We really have accomplished a lot. Road Trip Our September 1st meeting is going to be at Bibingers Restaurant (the Old Schwai’s) in Cedar Creek. 3747 Cedar Creek Road. Kevin and Amy Zimmer will have a great breakfast and tour of the updated building. Golf Outing The Ripon Early Birds 24th Annual Golf Outing at Lawsonia in Green Lake is set for Wednesday, September 7th with a 12:00 noon Shotgun Start/Scramble. Cost is $85.00 which includes golf, cart and dinner. Contact Tom Maurer if you still would like to sign-up.

Installation Banquet Our year-end celebration will be held on Thursday, September 29 th. It will be held at The Tap & Tavern in downtown West Bend. Socializing, cash bar and hors-d’-oeuvres will begin downstairs at 5:00 PM. Awards and Installation Activities will also be held downstairs beginning at 6:30 PM. At 7:00 PM we will move upstairs for our dinner and entertainment. (Julie & Two Old Men) We hope every member and their significant other will attend. We are holding the cost down to $30.00 each attendee. RSVP to Jennifer Herther is requested by September 16th. This is a time to celebrate another great year of community service and to thank past and current officers for a job well done! We will also be presenting our Kiwanian-of-the-Year Award. Don’t miss this fun evening!!
