November is “ Kiwanis Celebrate Family’s” month. To celebrate we will be joining the K-Kids at Silverbrook school for our business meeting on November 12th. Breakfast will be provided by Lighthouse Catering Service. On December 10th we will be celebrating Christmas with the Kiwanis Noon Club at the West Bend Country Club. Mark your calendars for the date. We have also been invited by the West Bend Rotary to a holiday get-together at the WOMA on Monday, December 14th . ‘Tis the Season……. Richard .

Kiwanian-of-the-Year Congratulations to Jon Kiel for receiving the Kiwanian-of-the-Year award at our installation dinner last month. Thanks for your leadership and participation in all of our activities and fund raisers throughout the year - It is well deserved!!

Family Night at the West Bend Library Thursday, November 12th @ 6:30pm Brad Weston This amazing and hilarious act is a theatrical thrill ride… on a unicycle… in a straight jacket! Clean, fast paced, . full of surprises, this show from Chicago is as much and like watching a magic show as it is like seeing a juggler. See what everyone is talking about! .

Kiwanis Celebrate Families Month
We will hold our November 12th business meeting in the library at Silverbrook School along with members of the K-kids. This is an opportunity for our club to show the kids that they are part of the larger Kiwanis family and together we are making an impact in our community.
2015-2016 Kiwanis Goals: 1) Membership – Build, retain and support Kiwanis membership
Inter-Club
2) Club Growth – Love your club, share it with others, live it by being involved in the Formula
On Tuesday, November 24th we will meet at 12:00 with the Noon Club at the Top-of-the-Ridge for an Inter-Club. Reminder: We do not have a morning meeting on the 26th since it is Thanksgiving Day.
3) Image – Make our club an integral part of our community
Christmas Party Our Christmas party will be held on Thursday, December 10th at the West Bend Country Club. This holiday social will be a combined affair with the Noon Kiwanis Club. Cocktails at 6:00 and Dinner at 7:00. Plan to be part of this enjoyable evening. RSVP with Larry Koziol and sign-up at a morning meeting.
Kiwanis SLP Service Leadership Programs
Rotary Invitation There will be a Rotary/Kiwanis program at the Museum of Wisconsin Art on Monday, December 14th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Appetizers and drinks will be available. Join us for Christmas cheer and fellowship. The Formula Think about what you love about Kiwanis. The service. The impact. The fellowship. Then think about people who would love those things too. That’s where you come in. And that’s why your story matters. Share it with others. Invite them to join us in making a positive impact in West Bend and beyond.
