II. Review/Approval of Previous Month’s General Membership Meeting Minutes - Board of Directors STATUS: RECURRING 12/6/2016 Motion made to APPROVE meeting minutes for November (R. Ribbe). Motion seconded (B. Stevens). Vote: I’s – All in attendance; Nays – None. Motion Approved
III. Presentation/Approval of Treasurer’s Monthly Report – Jeff Legare STATUS: RECURRING Statements and Income/Expense Reports (see attached); October month end balance: $ 14,283.95 November month end balance: $ 12,421.20 12/6/2016 Motion made to APPROVE Treasurer’s Report for November (K. IV. COORDINATOR/DIVISION REPRESENTATIVE REPORTS – Appointed Coordinators/Division Reps. STATUS: RECURRING SEE PREVIOUS MONTHS MINUTES FOR ISSUE DISCUSSION 12/6/2016
Equipment & Field Maintenance (Benedict): Need to change the locks on the shed since it has been awhile. Discussed getting keypad lock so it doesn’t have to be changed. Keith will price out options. 9 new sets of catcher’s gear will cost about $1100. Sets would be for 8U – 14U. Motion made to APPROVE cost of new catcher’s gear (A. Young). Motion seconded (M. Morgan). Vote: I’s – All in attendance; Nays – None. Motion Approved Training Coordinator (P.Riis): Friday clinics will be at Northwood on most Fridays January – March. Only two Mondays are available at Woodstock High School – still working on additional times. Rob will look into availability at Grace Lutheran. Sponsorship Coordinator (Benedict): No Report City Liaison (Fuentes): No Report Spirit Wear Coordinator (Young): Matt is working with Today’s Uniforms. They can do small orders and set up a website that can accept payments. Matt will look into samples and getting started. Umpire Coordinator (Herrmann): No Report Website / Registration (Young): Need to open registration for 2017 Spring/Summer Season. Fees will all be the same as last year including late fee and dates. Need to update sponsorship docs on website.

Cost will stay the same and include one jersey. Teams will all do fundraisers to cover costs for second jersey. 10U and 12U Storm Tournaments: Algonquin Memorial Day Bash (5/27-5/28); West Chicago Seminole Slugfest (6/16-6/18); Hoffman Estates Seminole Cannon Crossing Classic (7/21-7/23) 16U Storm Tournaments: Roscoe Rob Neiber Memorial (6/9-6/11); Algonquin Summer Sizzler (6/16-6/18); Schaumburg Seminole Slugfest (6/30-7/2); Janesville Cyclone Clash (7/7-7/9); Hoffman Estates Seminole Cannon Crossing Classic (7/21-7/23); Janesville Summer Slam (7/28-7/30) All tournaments will cost approximately $5450. Keith will research doing a 16U tournament in Woodstock. Motion made to approve registering Storm teams for tournaments on USSSA (K. Benedict). Motion seconded (M. Wiegel ). MISCELLANEOUS / NEW ISSUES OR COMMENTS - Board of Directors/Members STATUS: NEW / OPEN SEE PREVIOUS MONTHS MINUTES FOR ISSUE DISCUSSION 12/6/2016 1. We raised $262 and donated numerous toys to Christmas Clearing House at the Annual Bowling Party. 2. Discussed adding coaches to the leagues liability insurance. Jeff will send Rob a copy of the policy to review. 3. Mark to reach out to Verros Photography to confirm if photos can be delivered to individuals instead of league handing out. 4. Discussed roles and coordinator responsibilities. Will be adding a Storm Team Division Rep. Motion made to approve Keith as the Storm Team Division Rep (M. Wiegel). Motion seconded (B. Ungaro). Vote: I’s – All in attendance; Nays – None. MOTION APPROVED Motion made to approve Bryan Stevens as 14U rep and Broc Ungaro as 6U Rep (J. Legare). Motion seconded (A. Young).
