As of 1st April we will no longer be accepting cheques as payment for dinners, so please pay by cash from the above date. More information on our new caterers & payment systems, will be available to you shortly. Year 1 Class Assembly Year 1 will be holding their class assembly on Fri 28th March, 9.15am. Thank you to the children who have already emptied their boxes this week. Please encourage your child to take part in this fantastic appeal. IMPORTANT Food for Thought The Food for Thought project has been running in school for three years now. With the help of the Big Lottery Fund, we achieved a fantastic amount in such a short space of time. We have built some gardens from scratch, and added to others with polytunnels, chickens and sheds. We have grown an abundance of vegetables and the children have had a lot of fun, with plenty of learning thrown in. Now, as the lottery funding comes to an end, we are entering a new stage of the project. We are talking to businesses in the local community, hoping to raise some additional funding in order to continue to run the gardening clubs and maintain the plots. If you know of any business that might be willing to help, please get in touch with
[email protected] or click here for more information http://growcoventry.com/2013/12/13/when-the-moneyruns-out/ St Patrick’s Day Coffee Morning A huge thank you to all parents and families who attended our St Patrick’s Day Coffee Morning on Monday. The guitarists, choir, Irish dancers and band all performed marvellously and lots of Irish coffees and cakes were sold. Thank you to the children who donated cakes for this event too. In total, our coffee morning raised a fabulous £483.14p.
