Easter Holidays We will break up for Easter Holidays on Fri 11th April, 3.15pm. Children should come back to school on Mon 28th April. Y6 Sacrament of Confirmation Y6 children will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sun 6th April, 9.30am. Please do your best to attend this mass and say a prayer for our children. Good Shepherd Appeal 2014 Children can bring their boxes into school to empty them so that they can continue to save money during Lent. Thank you to the children who have already emptied their boxes this week. Please encourage your child to take part in this fantastic appeal. Sport Fixtures Netball & Football Rally – On Saturday, our netball and football teams took part in a Catholic Schools Rally. Both teams played brilliantly and Netballers won the rally. Huge congratulations team! I will take this opportunity to thank Mrs Fennell, Mr Youson and Mrs Wells for their dedication and support of the teams during the year. Cross Country – There is a girls’ cross country event at Keresley Grange on Tues 8th April, 4pm. Please do your best to attend these games to support our teams. Important Parked Cars Please be aware you should not be parking vehicles over dropped kerbs in the surrounding streets to All Souls. Unfortunately some cars are blocking resident’s cars in their drives by doing so. We have received complaints of this and a petition is being made so we must take action. When dropping your child at school, or collecting them, please be conscious of where you park your car, making sure you are not parked over a dropped kerb. Thank you.
Sponsor Money
AIP Taster Afternoon
Any sponsor money (in cash) collected by the children for the Coventry ½ Marathon, should be brought to the school office by Mon 7th April. We will be sending all of the cash on Tues 8th April.
Unfortunately there has been a delay to when our catering is being taken over by AIP, a company who specialise in education catering. It will now be after May half term. However AIP invite all parents to a taster afternoon on Wed 9th April, 3pm in the school hall. You will be able to taste food from the menu and ask the team questions. As of 1st April we are no longer accepting cheques as payment for dinners, so please pay by cash until further notice.
CAFOD Cake Sale Y5 boys held a cake sale on Wednesday to raise money for CAFOD. Thank you to all who donated cakes. In total, the boys raised £32.95 for CAFOD. Netball Bibs Andy Blair kindly provided us with 2 new sets of bibs, embroidered with the school badge. The children wore them when they played in the County Championships and they will also be used by the staff netball team. Thank You Huge thanks to Morrisons who responded to our plea for gardening equipment. They have donated Fruit Trees, Weeping Willow, infant gardening tools and an insect box. We are still welcoming any more donations.

Coventry & Warwickshire Dance Festival
Running Club We’re delighted with the number of children (& staff) who have joined the Running Club – over 80! They seem to be enjoying the breakfast afterwards too. To help with organisation, we’ve asked if KS2 children attend on a Tuesday and KS1 attend on a Thursday. If this causes a problem, children can attend on either day.)
Children that attend Street Dance Club will be taking part in Coventry & Warwickshire Dance Festival on Thurs 10th April at The Belgrade Theatre. Parents and families of the dancers are invited to watch the performance and can buy tickets either at The Belgrade box office or online. Choir & Orchestral Day On Tue 29th April, choir members in Y4, 5 and 6 will be going to King Henry VIII School to take part in their annual Choir & Orchestral Day.
