Concerns: that there will be no rules to sanction teams if fights break out based the new proposed rules of 6pt differential rule once the refs leave the field.
Proposed: that winning team takes players off the field and reduce the number of strong players on the field
Lisa read out loud section 2 of AYSO Area 1C Combined Program Rules & Regulations Upper Division, Play-Through, All-Stars and YDP
Motion: (Al) I motion to follow the current upper division rules and have them apply to area programs in all divisions RC’s voted: unanimous motioned passed
No exceptions to deadlines: all deadline will be upheld
Regions Must submit their # of teams
Play down for all starts still must follow younger rules for area
(rosters must be submitted for playing down) Any team that is playing down will not be eligible for Playoff’s

Team rosters must have all referee names plus badge level on all rosters prior to being signed by RC and turned into area

Regional all stars will eliminate the rule for u14

All regions with an extra team must have their guidelines and applications submitted for review for approval of their program
YDP: regions can start to register players as of January 1st
By mid-February have our field availability ready and number of teams

Area 1C - November Region Reports Region 88- Aldo Maurice and I both attended RC training this past weekend and tried to represent Area 1C the best we could. I think we succeeded, for the most part. Region 88 started its playoffs last weekend and will be done in time for the play-through tournament. Pictures and yearbooks have been distributed, working on getting trophies to coaches. Completed most of the player evaluation meetings. We’ll have 41 all-star teams. See you all Thursday!
Region 2 – Peter Region 2 has completed first round of playoffs. Semis and finals will be weekend of Dec. 5th. There are approximately 12 teams going to MST, 10 to Huntington Beach and one GU-16 to Cerritos Thanksgiving tournaments. We are looking for a registrar and CVPA for next year. Region will have its volunteer appreciation dinner in January. We are getting up to speed on our annual indoor tournament over Christmas vacation. In cooperation with Region 98, we were able to register over 40 people for the bone marrow program to benefit Vicki Barstow. We will have section and area teams in U-10 and 12. In U-14, there will be two boy's and one girl's area teams. There will be three, four or five region teams in the other divisions. Region 214 - Maurice Lots of good stuff going on 8 teams going to the Arroyo Seco tournament the weekend of Thanksgiving from South Pasadena 4 u10 boys 4 u10 girls 7 teams going to Myles Standish
Last games of regular season coming up this weekend December 1st will begin Allstars selection Playoffs start the same week Went to RC training last weekend at National Office our group is now known as the 49ers we were the largest RC training group today fantastic stuff learned met the new national president Mark Stewart Youngest regional commissioner was from Dubuque Iowa 22 years old, Dekker Fahb Lots of resources available at the national office that I will inform our region about can't wait to tell everyone about the good things Cleaning up the tail end of drops and refunds definitely will plan for 2015 to take care of registrar problems that we had in the past New slate being posted for board positions open. Met with high school administration high school soccer team, represented AYSO regarding field sharing issues due to high school Stadium closure Working on major gopher problem that is affecting field safety in the Arroyo Will start planning for the new 2013 season beginning in December
Region 13 - Al Completed our regular fall season – 11 regular season games One rain out – games not made up First weekend, of our 2 weekend, playoffs begin this weekend All teams make playoffs Bracketed – with only the top bracket playing for Play Thru berth Myles Standish Tournament – 11/28à30 110 teams – U10, 12 and 14, 19 from R13 Grad Series to begin same weekend as All-Stars Adding Team Managers to annual Coach/Ref holiday dinner – Dinner set for 12/11 at Brookside Finalizing All-Star teams Looking at around 20 or so teams Team formations set for week of 12/8
Region 908- Lisa Closing up our Season. Will have closing Ceremony On December 7. U6 and U8 Soccerfest (tournament) will be this Saturday. Will be adding a U5 team. U10 Playoff will be December 2nd to 5th U12 and U14 done. Ordered our trophies (very nice ones) for $8 that came with trophies for coach and team parent included for free. Thank you Brothers Trophies. Had a good season. Cant wait for all-stars. LOL
Region 98 - Dave • Coaches thank you dinner was yesterday at Dominico's • We had our player ratings meeting with all the coaches • We have 3 Teams going to the Pasadena Tournament and 6 to Cerritos • Playoffs are this week for U10 and U12. Every other division has finished their year • Looking for some help from Arcadia on practice fields. We lost LOP due to re-seeding all of December and January • Looking for a Coach Administrator • Closing Ceremonies was a success in terms of attendance and raising 2k for the Region • Sending a number of Referees for upgrades to the Roadshow
Region BH 1304 - Sandy Looking forward to sending volunteers to roadshow for coach and referee certification. #8 teams participating in play-thru. League season ends 11/29/2014. Having trouble with LAPD mail you may reach me at [email protected]. Would like to participate in All-stars but finding it difficult with lack of referee certification. If Boyle Heights field is needed for All -stars I may reserve dates for field usage. We have the field on Saturdays from 9am - 5pm. Need to submit permit as soon as possible. Region 60 – Rolando Sorry this is late. -Playoffs are winding down -U10 Boys and Girls and U12 Girls championships this Saturday - 9 teams going to tournaments (various venues) - player rating meetings underway - selecting Allstar coaches on 12/01 - closing ceremonies scheduled for 12/06 - GU16 and GU19 going to Section One Playoffs - working with city and school district to secure more field space for all star season. That's about it.
