SNOW DAY FUNDRAISER Our highly anticipated SNOW DAY event has been scheduled for Friday, January 13th, and we need your help! Hawaii Kai Church Early
Learning Center students and staff are asked to sell a minimum of five (5) Subway fundraiser cards for $10 each. The card is good for
six (6) buy one, get one free sandwiches with the purchase of a 40 oz drink. More details will be sent home with your child. Thank you for supporting this annual event!
Director’s Corner Dear Parents, We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve and get aquainted with your child and family this year. Each of you are such a blessing to all of us. This month the children will be learning about the First Thanksgiving and what they are thankful for. This would be an opportune time as a family to share what you are thankful for with each other. (See if your child can name things other than toys) Each day all of us are so busy but please take a few minutes to stop and thank God for all the blessings we are blessed with….our families, health, jobs, His beautiful world that surrounds us, and God’s love and grace to name a few. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD 2017

Hawaii Kai Church Early Learning Center will be participating in Operation Christmas Child this holiday season. This outreach program allows less fortunate children in countries all over the world to receive shoeboxes filled with items specific to their age and gender.

Each class will be putting together a shoebox filled with items for a boy and a girl. Sign up to donate items in your child’s class and bring in items between November 14th-21st. This is a great way for us to share the love of Jesus Christ to children in poverty stricken areas. Please feel free to make a box or two of your own as well!
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Join us on Saturday, November 5th at 8:00 am for an Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Wrapping Party! Breakfast will be served, followed by the wrapping of shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child box distribution. Bring wrapping paper, scissors, and tape, as you are able. Adults only, please!
