The Junior Hurlers were defeated 2.09 to 3.14 by Kinsale in their latest League game. The team that started was: Ciaran Cronin, James O'Regan, Paudie Deasy, Finny Coleman, Bill Hawkes, Terence Cronin, Kyle O'Donovan, David Crowley, John Kelleher Brendan Lynch, Richard Fleming, Paul Cronin, Denis McCarthy, Ciaran O'Sullivan, Phillip Hoey. Valley Rovers Premier Intermediate Hurlers: Last Thursday night in Brinny, Valleys played their last league game prior to their championship game versus Blarney next Saturday night in Ballygarvan. Aghabullogue defeated Valleys narrowly in a high scoring game by 2.16 to 3.12. The team that lined out was Terence Cronin, Noel O'Donovan, David Lynch, Fergal Coughlan, Jeremy Hurley, John Burke, Conor Lynch, Michael O'Brien, Richie Butler, Brian Lehane, Tadgh Burke, Joe Crowley, Tadgh Fitzgerald, Eamon Collins, Darragh Crowley. Subs: Damien Coughlan, Shane O'Sullivan and Colm O'Connell We wish Valley Rovers the best of luck in the Championship.

On Sat 28th May Valley Rovers under 11s travelled to Douglas to play in the Fe11 hurling league, again this is 11 aside with 4 games on the day. Valleys were victorious in one game and Douglas won three. Douglas are a very strong side and Valleys performed well in giving them 4 very though games, well done to all the players involved. U14 v Blarney The U14's played a challenge match v Blarney last week in Brinny. After a fine game of Camogie, Valleys won on a score of 4-2 to 2-2. Well done girls. Cork Colleges Best of luck to Valley Rovers players on Cork Colleges team who are playing in the All-Ireland blitz in Mallow next Saturday June 4th in the James Hurley Memorial Tournament. Valley Rovers will be represented by Lisa Lynch, Jennifer Murphy & Katie Lynch.

Well done to Chris O Donovan who was a substitute on the Cork intermediate Hurling team that defeated Tipperary in the first round of the Munster Hurling Championship yesterday. Hopefully Chris will get a starting place in the future.
