*PRE-CLASS WORK Press muslin fabric so it is crease free. Place pre-printed fusible interfacing with bumpy side down (bumpy side has the glue on it this will go on top of fabric) on muslin so it completely covers muslin. Set iron to polyester setting and carefully press interfacing to muslin (you may need to hold iron in place for a count of ten). Let cool completely and make sure it is fused in place. Cut apart your segments slightly outside of the lines. You will have 8 segments. Bring these to class. Your Tuffet consists of 8 wedges with the colours or fabrics you have chosen being repeated in each wedge. You will need (32) 2 ½ Width of fabric strips. Please cut on the fold to yield two 2 ½ by 21-inch strips from each fabric strip (one jelly roll or your own yardage cut). Decide on your arrangement of fabrics. Label these from 1 to 8 (this will become the repeated pattern in each wedge). Bring them labeled and ready for class.
