Rouse Raider Swim Team Booster Club Executive Meeting Minutes Oct. 20, 2014 Call to Order Executive Board meeting called to order by Tina Saul at 6:40pm on Oct. 20, 2014 at the classroom of Coach Ramsey.
Attendance Executive members in attendance: Tina Saul, Ken Demoski, Peter Grady and Lenna Crosby Other members in attendance: Jeri Grady, Jayme Ingram Guests: Coach Ramsey
Approval of minutes from last meeting The Oct. 3, 2014 minutes were approved by all.
Old Business A) Treasurer’s Report a. We have to pay taxes of both the swim team shirts and the family shirts. Giving us a negative balance (-$1.18 for team, -$68.16 for family). b. Next year, we need to sell shirts at either cost or for a higher profit. c. We had two extra family shirts left over. One was sold for $15.00 and we still have one left to sell. B) Fundraisers a. Winter Raffle: i. The Rouse Booster Clubs are not permitted to do raffles for fundraisers, so we had to re-visit ideas. ii. The Winter Raffle is now a Pieology Night with a silent auction. 1. Pieology in Cedar Park will host a fundraiser night on Dec. 8, 2014 from 11:00am-9:30pm. 2. Anyone who brings in a Pieology/RRSTBC flyer will have 20% of their bill given to the booster club. 3. Lenna Crosby and Coach Ramsey will work on all necessary paperwork needed to hold the fundraiser. iii. Silent Auction will be held outside of Pieology on fundraiser night. 1. Pieology customers will be able to bid on baskets in TBD increments with a starting minim bid. 2. We have the ruby bracelet, but we need to ask for other donations. 3. Time frame of the silent Auction TBD.
Next Meeting Executive Board Meeting will be held on Monday Nov. 3, 2014 at 6:30pm in Coach Ramsey’s classroom. Booster Meeting will be held immediately following at 7:00pm.
Adjournment Tina Saul adjourned the meeting at 7:05pm.
