Ignite Service/Senior Celebration! Thank you for picking up the monthly HOF Bulletin! This month’s feature is VBS prep days. This month’s feature is the upcoming Ignite service. On May 22 we will be having our annual Ignite service! This is a Sunday we set aside to celebrate our youth and inform the congregation of all the happenings with the youth. We invite you to come and take part in this exciting event. All of the youth will have a part to play in this service. Make sure to bring your kids to Bible class in the coming weeks, because this is where they will learn what
they will be doing. On May 29 we will specifically celebrate our graduating seniors. We will have a potluck lunch after service in their honor. They will have baskets out for gifts. Celebrating our seniors is very important. They are about to make a significant transition in their lives. As the church we should gather around them in love and joy. I hope that everyone will be here for both of
these Sundays. The youth here at Northwest are involved with many great things. Supporting the youth is paramount to our mission as the church. Thank you for everything that you do on behalf of the youth. A healthy, growing youth program is a sign of a healthy, growing church. By Ryan Martin
Camp Registration Camp is coming up soon! Elementary/junior high week is June 7-11 and high school week is June 12-15. Registration forms are located on the round table in the foyer. I need those turned to either the office or me with the payment by
May 1. Camp is a great opportunity for the kids and teens to experience Jesus in a broad community. It is a great way to connect with Christians across the state of Illinois. I will be at both sessions of camp.
The high school week will be a time of prayer and reflection. It will be a good opportunity for those who have just gone to Nicaragua to reflect on that trip. By Ryan Martin

This month’s youth spotlight goes to Molly Fore Molly Fore is a fantastic public speaker. She knows how to work a crowd and always comes off cool and collected. She did a fantastic job at LTC this year and I look forward to many more years with her. Molly is also good at voicing her opinion. In Bible class and devotionals she is always willing to jump in and contribute to the conversation. I see Jesus in Molly.
The Month of April The month of April has been a busy one. Here are some of the highlights from this past month. April 3: Fondulac Rehabilitation Center—The first Sunday this month the youth group went and colored, played games with, and painted the nails of the residents at Fondulac in East Peoria. Thanks to Rachel Gardner for organizing that. April 9: Children’s Church Brunch—A large group came together to discuss the possibility and challenges of children’s church. It was a very productive session. April 10: VBS Work Days—The Hargroves hosted the youth for a devotional and games. Thank you Terry and Teressa for this. We had a great time. April 14-17: Harding Trip—A group of us went down to Harding last weekend. It was a good time to see the campus and experience a taste of college. April 16: Danny and Robbie Deramus from Highway Church of Christ in Searcy came to share information about Nicaragua. Ryan Martin All pictures are taken from Facebook.
