Summer may seem a ways off, but it will be here faster than you think! VBS is one of the many things we do here for the youth during the summer. It is well attended and staffed by many volunteers. It is quite the event that
shows Jesus to kids both from the congregation and the surrounding area. VBS will be in the evenings on July 10 -13. Mark your calendars! The theme this year is Maker Fun Factory; showing
kids that they are wonderfully made by a might creator. As stated earlier, VBS is a massive undertaking, so we need people to volunteer! There is something for everyone to do! Ryan Martin
Second VBS Meeting! Get ready, because our second VBS meeting will be on March 18 here at the building! This will be a more in depth meeting
where will discuss the particulars of how VBS will work this year. Thanks to all who are willing to help
out with VBS. You all look like Jesus! By Ryan Martin

month’s star is Jenna Campbell. Jenna is a very interesting person. When LTC
started this year, I was expecting her to be very shy and quiet. I was wrong. Instead she has become the life of the party, putting smiles on everyone’s face! More important than her infectious charm, Jenna has a very deep understanding of the Bible for someone her age. She knows the
Thank You! This year for LTC we have doubled our numbers. Last year we had five participate, and this year we have ten! All of the kids are working very hard learning the book of Acts, writing speeches, practicing puppets, and getting creative with poems and books. It is a great time to be at Northwest! I want to say thank you to some of the people who have volunteered to help with LTC. This includes Jill Humes, Cindy DeVore, and Aaron Campbell. Thank you for being here on Sunday afternoons and working with the kids! I also want say thank you to the parents. It isn’t easy to stick around church several extra hours a day or drive back and forth, but you do it anyway. Your commitment to your children’s spiritual development is the true reason they grow.
