Suggested Preparation Instructions (In recommended order) 1: Potatoes GRILL Preheat grill to medium heat. Cut potatoes in half. Lay out four pieces of large foil. Place potatoes on two sheets of foil, drizzle olive or other preferred cooking oil over potatoes. Lay the other pieces of foil over top and fold ends of bottom and top pieces together tightly to form two packets. Place directly on grill grate and cook 20-30 minutes, turning packets over half-way through cooking. (If packet puffs up during cooking use a knife to cut a small vent hole.)
OVEN Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut potatoes in half. Line a sheet pan with foil. Spread cut potatoes over the pan, drizzle olive or other preferred cooking oil over potatoes. Stir potatoes around to make sure they are well coated with oil. Place pan in oven and roast for 20 minutes or until just tender. Remove from oven and serve with salt and pepper to taste.
2: Steak GRILL Rub both sides of the steaks with a little bit of steak seasoning and set out at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil grate. Place your steaks over direct heat on the grill and leave them alone for the first few minutes; you want to sear the outside to create a caramelized crust for the best texture and flavor. Use tongs to turn the steak instead of using a fork as piercing causes the juices to drain out. Cook each side of the steak 4-7 minutes, depending on the desired doneness. Remove steaks from grill, cover with foil and let rest 10 minutes before serving.
3: Asparagus After washing, gently snap each asparagus stalk off near the bottom and discard woody ends. Peel thicker stalks.
GRILL Preheat grill to medium heat. Drizzle olive or other cooking oil over asparagus, rub over to coat well. Place directly on grill grate and cook about 8-12 minutes turning occasionally until slightly tender.
STOVE TOP Fill a medium pot about two-thirds full with water, bring water to a boil and then add asparagus. Gently boil until slightly tender: thin spears 3 minutes; medium 5 minutes; thick 7 minutes. You could also steam the asparagus on the stovetop using a steamer basket until the asparagus is slightly tender.
4: Baguette GRILL Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove bread from package and place directly onto grill. Bake 5-8 minutes.
OVEN Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove bread from package and place directly onto oven rack or pan. Bake 8 minutes.
