Weekly Schedule
Students will continue their study of the United States and Canada (Chapter 6 Section1)
Monday: Guided Reading Section 1/Answer Places & Terms/Answer Main Idea questions.
Students will learn and understand theHistory and Government of the United States Students will learn how the United States was formed. Describe the growth of the United States through migration and industrialization. Students will examinethe United States political policy, economic growth, and social change.
Tuesday/Wednesday: Lecture/(PPt.)/Notes/Discussion:Creating a Nation/Industrial and Urban Society/World Power/Governing the People.
Students will be able to describe the U.S. governing system. Students will conclude the week with a current event that is within the context of World Geography (ie. flora/fauna, culture, and any unique event that sparks interest and learning. This lesson will also fulfill the students weekly writing.
Friday: Current Events: Students will research a current event and write a summary that will be presented to the class.
