https://www.facebook.com/groups/waht.next and http://kirkland.kiwanis.org/Page/23075 This is a 3-2-1 club for adults living with disabilities, each month doing at least 3 hours of community service, 2 hours of social interaction and 1 hour of meeting business. See: http://www.aktionclub.org/home.aspx DECEMBER 17, 2016: Attendance included 20 members, about 24 caregivers, & 1 guest, including: Kirkland Kiwanis Aktion Club Officers: Pres. Sean McKibben, Vice Pres. Jeffrey Rohrback, and Sec. Christine Cech. Kiwanis Club of Kirkland (sponsor): Bowling Coordinator - Darcie Cailao & Aktion Club Advisor – Matt Gregory (scribe). SERVICE: We collected Toys for Tots, covering the entire table and filling the whole drop-off bin at 24 Hour Fitness. What a great effort by everyone. Local needy kids will be very thankful to you all! Thank you, Darcie, for arranging the Bellevue Marine recruiter to attend our toy assembly. Thank you, Kirkland Kiwanis for donating toys, too. Thank you, parents for arranging table for photos, bagging toys, and loading items in the car for delivery.
