Announcements Welcome Please sign a registration card found in the pew rack. If you wish to share a prayer request with the staff and our email prayer line, include this on your card and place in the offering plate. We welcome those who are worshiping with us for the first time and ask that you please use a green guest registration card. We have personal listening devices available for those who are hearing impaired.
REMINDER: Please PRINT your information legibly on the attendance cards. Thank you. Celebration of Ministry: This is a great opportunity February 26th to see what is going on within our church ministries! We are excited to find out what the Lord is doing this year and who he uses to glorify His Kingdom. Come out to the celebration and check out what you can be a part of to grow our church community. Business Meeting: There will be a short business meeting on February 26th immediately following the service. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and vote on the proposed bylaw change. Worship Service: Next Sunday, February 26th Worship service will be in the FLC. Church Softball: There will be a meeting Today, February 19th immediately following church to discuss possible softball leagues/costs for the spring/ summer.

Community Movie: The movie “Is Genesis History?” will come out in Marcus Theaters February 23rd. This documentary will go through the science of Genesis. You won’t want to miss it!

Movie Night: Join us February 25th to watch “I’m In Love with a Church Girl” movie (Rated PG). This movie is about a former drug dealer who proves to be problematic as his love for a devout Christian woman grows he falls in love with her and the Lord. A bonus to this movie is Toby Mac is in it!
Youth Spring Retreat: Register for Youth Spring retreat by March 1 (cost $45). Retreat will be at Moses Merrill Camp March 17th-19th. Women’s Conference: Bring a teen/college-aged daughter, niece or granddaughter and join the Women’s conference March 3rd-4th at Camp Moses Merrill (cost $75). There will be workshops, Bible study, coloring, games, and more! Ladies be sure to mark your calendars because you don’t want to miss this event. OUR VISION: To unite and transform the Benson Community with the love of Jesus.
From Pastor Bob To Know That You Are Known It’s Oscar season. The Academy Awards will be presented next Sunday night. My interest in the Oscar Show is about the same as Diane’s enthusiasm for the Super Bowl. Still, I do like a good movie. A few years ago, I was entertained and moved by a unique space thriller starring Sandra Bullock called Gravity. It was terrifying, actually. Bullock was an inexperienced astronaut working on a space station that gets destroyed in a violent collision with space junk. She, along the only other survivor – an experienced astronaut – make their way with jet packs through space to an abandoned capsule for a last-chance effort at returning to earth. Bullock makes it, but along the way she watches her partner drift helplessly of into space. She’s inexperienced, terrified, and alone. Ever felt that way? Every human being has experienced loneliness. While we may have the best marriage, family, or friends, every person, at some point, feels that no one truly and fully understands. But God does. He knows you even better than you know yourself. Such a truth is tremendous comfort. There is absolutely nothing about you that God doesn’t know. He knows your strengths and your weaknesses. He has felt your frustrations and your joys. He has celebrated your victories and grieved your losses with you. He understands your motivations and he has seen your “secret sins.” He still loves you anyway. When the psalmist recognized this truth, he was overwhelmed: “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it” (Psalm 139:6). You are not alone. You a fully known. And you are lavishly loved. Now that is truly awesome! Pastor Bob
