Sew What Shoppe NEWS!!!! What an exciting time at Sew What Shoppe! We have lots of announcements to make, so here goes!
November 11, 2016 will be a BIG day!!! There will be a formal RIBBON CUTTING ceremony on November 11 at 8:30 a.m. We are inviting all customers to come and bring a friend to support our new business. November 11-12 will be our GRAND OPENING with lots of sales throughout the store. We will have special discounts on sewing machines, embroidery machines, Anita Goodesigns and Floriani thread. We will also have Synchrony financing available for your purchasing pleasure. We are also excited to announce our EXPANSION. We have a brand new CLASSROOM (where The Book Stop used to be). Now we have much more space for classes and open sewing on Fridays. Our former classroom is now our new FABRIC SHOPPE. We are starting our fabric selection with wide backings. Excuse our mess, but come on in to check out our new selection of 108” backings. We will be adding additional fabrics very soon. We will also be offering RETREAT WEEKENDS starting in December. The first retreat will be December 9-11. This will be a great time to be out of the house to finish up those Christmas gifts. The retreat will be 10 am to 9 pm on Friday, 10 am to 9 pm on Saturday, and 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday. Some meals will be furnished as well. If you have a group of sewers that like to sew together, this will be a great time to get together and create wonderful things. If you don’t yet have a group of sewers that you sew with, you can come and meet some other creative souls. Due to our new retreat opportunities, our Open Sewing will move to Thursday once a month. It’s OK, ladies; flexibility is a good thing. With our expansion, we are looking for some additional part-time employees. We are looking for someone who can do a multitude of tasks such as teach classes, sell sewing/embroidery machines, and sell fabric. The ideal candidate should also have basic computer skills and not be afraid to learn a new computerized system. Give us a call and schedule an interview today. 217-222-7458
