10/04/17 Trick or Treat Table Topper. Tina Landskroener, Instructor. This a great beginning sewing project to decorate your table for Halloween. 10/7/17 – Show and Tell Sewcializing. Bring a completed project that you have made to show the group. Shawn will have refreshments ready at 10 a.m. Show and Tell starts at 10:30am. If you share a project, you can receive 20% off one regularpriced item in the store. Bring a friend. This event is free! 10/10/17 – Ruler BOM. Ann Pflibsen, Instructor. The Ruler BOM group that had been meeting at Simply Sewing will be meeting at Sew What until their project is completed. New students are welcome. $10 class fee is payable to the instructor. 10/11/17 – Epic Owners Club. Shawn Hodges, Facilitator. This is a time for Husqvarna/Viking Epic Owners to get together and network about their amazing embroidery machine. Shawn will facilitate with one or two new techniques. Questions and exploration of owner’s experiences will be of benefit for all. If you’re interested in purchasing an Epic, come and join us. There is no charge for participating, however, please register so we can prepare accordingly. The Embroidery Club is in the afternoon for those who wish to stay. For Sew What Shoppe’s Epic Users (bought your machine from Sew What Shoppe) are exempt from the Embroidery Club’s registration fees. This does not include Kits when applicable. 10/11/17 – Kimberbell Embroidery Club – Shawn Hodges, Instructor. The embroidery club allows you to create some adorable, simple, quick projects. This month's project is Dimensional Mylar Leaves. . 10/12/17 - Embellished Christmas Cards , Create 3 beautiful Christmas Cards for the holiday. This is a paper crafting class. Cost $12.00 includes kit (pay directly to instructor). Class size is limited to 9, so register early. 10/14/17– It’s a Technique Party. Tina Landskroener, Hostess. Come join us for a Party with all the food and party games. We will learn about 60 degree ruler work. You need to bring yourself and a friend. Tina will demo a number of blocks that can be made with the 60 degree ruler. This event is free. . 10/16/17 – 15000 Owners’ Group Workbook Class. Shawn Hodges, Instructor. If you have a Janome MC 15000 embroidery machine (or would like one) come and join the group to learn more about the machine and its features. There is no charge for participating, however, please register so we can prepare accordingly. 10/17/17 – Floriani Software Club. Tina Landskroener and Shawn Hodges, Facilitators. Do you own Floriani’s Digitizing Software? Then this club is for you!. We will be reviewing one of Floriani’s tutorials and networking with each other on using the software. 10/18/18 – Spooky Halloween. Tina Landskroener, Instructor. This adorable spider and his web would look great on a wall or as a table topper. This is a great beginners sewing and applique project. 10/19/17 – A Day at the Zoo. Shavon Standifer, Instructor. This is a block of the month program designed around the Smith Street Design. It is a machine embroidered project and there is a fabric kit available with cute “fur” for the animals. The fee for returning participants is $10. 10/24/17 – Husqvarna/Viking Software Club. Ann Pflibsen, Instructor. This class is for owners of all levels of 6D Software and Premier for Husqvarna. $10 class fee is payable to the instructor. 10/25/17 – Jingle all the Way Class 3 of 3. Shavon Standifer and Gloria Ludwig, Co- Instructors. This is the third and final class of a three-month Christmas quilt project. Class fee is $20 for on-going participants and runs 10am to 6pm. 10/26/17 – Kimberbell Cutie Table Topper. – Shawn Hodges, Instructor. The Holidays are upon us; time to get thinking of Fall decorations and Christmas gifts. This month’s table topper will look great on your table throughout Fall season. Open Sewing every Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. Late Night Sewing will be held on October 27th from 6:30 pm until??? Please register at the store if you plan to join us for late night sew.
