Using 2 different fabrics a quilt block measuring 6 (9, 12) inches Cut Fabric A – the main focal fabric 1 square the size you want the quilt block – 6 inches (9 inches, 12 inches) Fabric B – the accent fabric 4 square – 1/3 of the size you want the quilt block plus ¼ inch – 2 ¼ inches (3 ¼ inches, 4 ¼ inches) Place one of the Fabric B squares in the upper right hand corner of the Fabric A square.
Draw a line from the lower right hand corner of the Fabric B square to the upper left hand corner.
Sew along the drawn line.
Repeat for all 4 corners of the block.
Trim the excess triangle ¼ inch from the seam, leaving a ¼ inch seam allowance.
Press the seams open toward the darker fabric. And that is how easy the Snowball Quilt Block is.
