40 – 2 ½” strips (Jelly Roll, or yardage) 3/4 yard of fabric for the centers 5/8 yard of fabric for binding (7 – 2 ½ strips)

3 ½ yards for backing 64” x 92” of batting 6” x 24” Ruler Rotary Cutter ¼” machine foot Machine needle Neutral piecing thread

Sewing machine in good working order with cords
Sewing supplies such as: pins, seam ripper, snips, marking tool, etc.
Preparation prior to class Read through the pattern
CO TT ON
From the center fabric – Cut 3 or 4 - 6” strips then sub-cut into 20 – 6” squares (If you are using a theme fabric, fuzzy cut 20 – 6” squares)
Sort your light-ish and dark-ish fabric to frame each block.
