Scrap Happy Purse Pattern by Amanda Jean Nyberg (required) 1” to 1 1/2” wide strips by 8”, 9”, 10”, and 11” (hold until 1st class) 1/2 yard of quilting cotton for lining

2 - 16 1/2” x 16 1/2” pieces of batting 1/2 yard for Binding 1 yard of 22” wide mid-weight interfacing for the lining
Pre-made purse handles
QU
Scraps or 1/4 yard fabric for inside pockets
(If you are making fabric handles, you will need 1/4 yard of fabric and 1/4 yard of interfacing 3/4” magnetic clasp (you can use a sew in magnetic)
Sewing machine in good working order (know of how your machine works)
Walking foot 6” x 24” ruler rotary cutter with a sharp blade neutral thread for piecing

¼” foot, foot pedal, sewing machine cord, bobbins, etc.
sewing notions such as: scissors, stiletto, seam ripper, needles, straight pins, etc. Spray basting or safety pins for basting Prior to Class

Read over the pattern. I made some modifications to the the pattern so please do not cut anything out until me meet. Gather fabric for strips. You can use scraps that are 1” - 1 1/2” wide. I recommend that you cut them at least 12” long.
