LILLIAN &/OR OLIVER (42” X 42” baby quilt; with patterns included for burp cloth and bib) With Meg Forster Sunday January 11, 2015, 1pm-4pm Beginner An adorable little quilt for that special little someone in your life. Find some fun novelty or children’s fabric and join us in making this quick & cute quilt. There are slight differences in the pattern between the girl’s (LILLIAN) and boy’s (OLIVER) quilts – primarily the center block.
SUPPLIES: “LILLIAN & OLIVER” pattern – by kati cupcake – REQUIRED! Fabric: listed on back of pattern 9 different ¼ yard cuts for center squares and colored rectangles Border fabric around squares – 1 ½ yards Sashing – 3/8 yard Backing and binding requirements listed on back of pattern Sewing machine, with power cord and foot pedal in working order; ¼” foot, for machine if available; rulers for straight edge cutting; scissors; rotary cutter; pins; seam ripper; neutral piecing thread; BEGINNER with basic knowledge of use of rotary cutter and ability to sew an accurate ¼” seam. Prior to class: read through pattern.
