“Destressing” Exercise As we’ve talked about throughout the Future of Wealth program and the Elite teleclasses, it is important to take out time on a regular basis to relax and clear your mind. You’ve already learned a few techniques to do this. This is another to add to your collection. Try it every day this week and see how you like it! Before you begin, imagine the most relaxing place in the world. Keep that in the back of your head – you’ll need it at the end of the exercise! 1. Close your eyes, take a few moments to unwind by focusing on your breath. 2. Take a deep breath in. Hold your breath for about ten or fifteen seconds before letting out a

LOFT Lifestyle Reports Week 13 deep sigh and relaxing your whole body. Allow your breathing to return to normal for a few moments and just be aware of how relaxed your body now feels. 3. Breath in again, in the same way, and this time relax your lower body, from your waist down to your feet. 4. Another deep breath, relaxing your chest, back and arms as you exhale. 5. Breath in again and relax your head, neck and face as you breath out. 6. Imagine yourself standing at the top of a flight of ten stairs or steps, at the bottom is your relaxing scene. Slowly descend the steps one at a time, counting from ten all the way down to zero as you do so. Let yourself just feel as if you are sinking down deeper toward a nice trance with each step you take. 7. When you arrive at the bottom of the steps imagine entering into your relaxing scene. Get in touch with your senses. Take a few minutes to try to get a feel for the scene, take a note of the colors and shapes around you, along with any sounds. Take in the scents with your smell and feel the textures. Allow yourself to let go completely and enjoy the pleasant feelings of physical relaxation and mental calm. 8. When you are ready, count from one up to five. Open your eyes and enjoy the nice buzz you should be feeling! Affirmations The biggest difference between happy, successful people and unhappy, struggling people are their beliefs. The beliefs that you have about yourself and others dramatically influences how you live your life. Affirmations are simple statements of beliefs. Starting your day with affirmations puts you in the right state of mind and, if you do them over and over again, then your affirmations will embed new beliefs deep in your subconscious. The best affirmations are in the present tense, positive and spoken with emotion behind them. Each LOFT Lifestyle Report contains a set of ten affirmations that you should state first thing in the morning. They correspond with what you’re learning in the teleclasses, and they shouldn’t take you more than a minute to do each day. The key with affirmations is to do them consistently. If you take the time each day to do them, especially first thing in the morning when your mind is as clear as it’s going to be, then they can profoundly transform your life.
