Longreach Market Report 20th June 2012 A yarding of 2500 head met a softer fat market this week in Longreach; Bullocks over 600Kg topping at 163c/kg, with Feeder steers 400-500Kg selling to a top of 187c/kg. A good penning of store cattle this week, with light steers ringing the bell at 221c/kg. The best of the heavy cows this week sold to 149c/kg; while kill heifers over 400Kg saw a top of 155c/kg. Heifers 200-300Kg sold to a top of 186c/kg this week. There was a mixed yarding of cows & calves this week, with the best selling to $797.50. Ray White Livestock Sale Highlights
