Longreach Market Report 18th July 2012 With a rain reduced yarding of 1250 head in Longreach, the Fat Market had a lift with heavy bullocks 500600Kg ringing the bell at 181c/kg. The cow market saw heavy cows over 520Kg making 140c/kg. Feeder steers 400-500kg made 185c/kg. Light feeder steers 300-400Kg also topped at 185c/kg. Fat kill heifers over 400Kg had a top of 164c/kg, with the feeder heifers 300-400Kg topping at 190c/kg. Light store steers topped at 202c/kg & light store heifers topped at 197c/kg.
