Longreach Market Report 13th June 2012 A large yarding of 4100 head met a very solid market all round in Longreach today. In a big yarding, limited numbers of 600Kg+ Bullocks were penned, the best sold to 169c/kg. The feeder market had strong gains with heavy feeders to 179c/kg. Top quality Santa cross steers sold to 224c/kg. A solid cow sale today; with 400-520Kg cows averaging 129c/kg, to top at 153c/kg. Heifers 400Kg sold to 176c/kg to feedlotters.
