President Roland O. welcomed everyone to Camp Sawyer for our weekly meeting. A clang of the bell and the membership stood up as Tim B. started us off with the pledge followed by Janet R. with prayer and Bob L. with song. Fine collector for the evening was Ashley L.
COMMITTEES:
Prior to the start of the regular meeting, President Roland O. had members preparing a mailing for the golf ________________________________ tournament. During the regular meeting President Roland spoke on the September 10th event. Letters for sponsorships have been President-Elect sent out. Roland distributed to the membership assignments for Francie Valliere those members that can attend. All hands are needed and if your spouse or anyone else can lend a hand let President Roland know so [email protected] assignments can be made. _________________________________ [email protected]

OTHER HAPPENINGS:
Happy Dollars for the evening were Janet R., Glenn T., and Ashley L. Fines are always in order and Bob L decided to fined himself for not being more attentive. Passed. Paul L. & Janet R. went over the District Convention held in Cromwell Ct. They spoke on the District I plan and the various classes on the I plan and Paul L. attended the final board meeting as Lt. Governor. He mentioned the Club received a ribbon for 3rd place for Interclub award. Also a ribbon for Public Relations to place on our banner. Janet R and Paul L. represented the Berlin Club as delegates. Our new District Officers effective October 1st will be Bill Jenkins Governor, Governor Elect Dan Bennett, with John Falconer as Treasurer and George Delisle as Secretary. Effective October 1st we will become Division 7 with Lyndy Falconer of Colebrook as the Lt. Governor. We will now have 4 Clubs in our Division. Berlin, Colebrook, St. Johnsbury and our new edition Mt. Washington Valley,.

SECRETARY: Pop tabs are being collected for the K-kids, turn them in to Yvonne T. We are getting close to the end of our Kiwanis year. (Sept. 30th) I am preparing the new club book for the coming year. I ask that each member look at the book and check out the information I have on you. Let me know what needs to be corrected such address, phone number, incorrect spelling etc. Also new members look at the committees and see which committee you would like to be appointed to, and notify President Roland. CRIBBAGE ANYONE?? $10.00 Entry Fee $ 5.00 to go to the Administration Account $ 5.00 to paid to winner Single Elimination – Best 2 out of 3 games (2 points for a Skunk) Sign-up by 8/23/16 and a tournament grid will be established.
