A great turnout of the membership at this week meeting at the Northland Dairy Bar as President Janet opened the meeting with Dan B., with the pledge, Bob L. with song and Roland O. with prayer. President Janet introduced guest and Francie V., had her daughter Hillary, Cecile S. had her granddaughter K-Kids VP Shea Cooney, and our guest speaker Past Governor John Forbes. Past Governor John Forbes spoke to the membership of the proposed amendments to be voted on at the International Convention. He spoke on a possible $10.00 dues increase which is amendment 7. John had sent out copies of the amendment to Secretary Paul L who sent it out to the membership. He ask the Club to discuss the issues so the delegates will know how to vote at the convention. He also mentioned that the International Board wants to raise or lower your dues up to 5% every year without having the membership approve.

Glenn T. reported on the Nominations of Officers final reading as follows: President Roland Olivier, President Elect. Francie Valliere Treasurer Priscilla Couture. Directors for 2 years Daniel Blais, Bethany Poulin, Michael Bump and Robert Labnon. Position appointed by President Roland were Paul Lafleur Secretary and Tim Beaulac Assistant Secretary. Secretary cast one vote for the new officers for 2015-2016 The scholarship meeting will take place at Northway Bank on Thursday 21st of May at 5:30 pm As many members we can get to attend will be greatly appreciated. tee will be going to Camp on Thursday May 14 around 2 pm to get things ready. All members are invited to join the committee to get things done. Next Tuesday May 19th will be Camp Cleanup night. Ed B. request as many hands we can get hall clean windows wash etc. With May 26 will be the first meal. Cooking teams are being set up ( attached separately). Volunteers are needed for a few of the weeks June 16 and June 23rd. Thanks to Bethany P. who will cook on the 16 and Jerry D who will cook on June 23rd. Henry B. will also assist. Tim B. mentioned that all is set for the bike rodeo and all hands on deck and arrive for set up at 8:30 am till 2:30 pm on May 16. President Janet announced that Thursday May 21st scholarship meeting at Northway Bank at 5:30 PM. As many members that can participate will be greatly appreciated. August 11. Annual Bocce Tournament.

Happy dollars for the evening were from Glenn T., Ashley L, Janice D., Susan G., Bob L., Paul F.., Roland O., Henry B., Janet R., and Francie V. Fines are always in order and Bob L had a fine on a table that refused to have him at a table. Not passed. Glenn T. on Bob L. For not including him in the table group of the first fine. Passed. Ashley had a fine on Bob L also for gambling in the parking lot passed. President Janet fined Bob L. for calling our meeting hogwash. Passed. A fine on Jerry D. from Paul F. for doing banking business with Bob L. Passed. Glenn T., reported on the Key Club and they are having a new fund raiser more information to come at a later date. They are having send off party for key Club seniors. This will be done on Saturday June 13th. At Camp Sawyer members welcomed. K-Kids VP Shea mentioned that they are having a meeting this Thursday May 14. May 30th they are going to the Ronald McDonald House to deliver pop tabs. Cecile S. reported that the Berlin KKids were the first place winners in the District for their scrapbook. Their scrapbook is now on its way to International. Congratulations to the Berlin Kiwanis K-Kids for a job well done. They are the future. Scott L. reported on Day of caring on May 29th . We will meet at 9AM at Bickford place. Roland O. has received the banner for the Club to display for our various projects. Sue mentioned that the relay for life is looking for Kiwanis men to help set the stage like in previous years. On June 12 and 13. Sue also mentioned on read around the world in Gorham. There are 24 students. This will finish the project for the year
President Janet presented a 10 year Legion Of Merit Award to Dayna Strout. President Janet reminded everyone to make an effort to come Camp Sawyer and support Camp. Meals will be $15.00.
