On Tuesday, Utah snapped Utah Valley’s nation-leading 32-game win streak with an 11-10 victory. “We have played pretty good baseball the last two weeks,” Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. “We’ve gotten beat up this year, and for us to play the way we’ve played the last couple of weeks, I’m proud of this group.” The Cardinal (33-14, 14-10 Pac-12) is ranked 17th in the latest Baseball America poll and 11th by the Baseball Writers Association. Friday night starter Mark Appel is a potential No. 1 draft pick.
