2018 Utah Baseball · Junior Isaac Cruz has made seven appearances with one start at designated hitter. · Senior Tanner Thomas leads Utah with 52 strikeouts and 58 1/3 innings pitched. He has a 5.40 ERA and a 3-2 record. · Thomas has pitched in 55 games (14 starts) with a 4.83 career ERA and 115 strikeouts. · Junior Josh Tedeschi has pitched in 12 games with seven starts (57 innings). He has pitched in long relief and made seven starts. Tedeschi has a 5.53 ERA and is second on the team with 46 strikeouts. He has two pickoffs. Tedeschi is 1-7 on the year. · Tedeschi had five strikeouts over two shutout innings against BYU on Tuesday. He earned his first win of the season in a start on Saturday against Arizona, allowing two runs on six hits with four strikeouts. · Tedeschi has 40 career appearances with a 5.50 ERA and 3-7 record. · Freshman Brett Brocoff (11 starts) is third on the team with 35 strikeouts.
