2013 Utah Baseball • Carroll won Utah’s first-ever baseball Pac-12 Player of the Week award on March 26 after hitting .412 (7-for-17) against Utah Valley and Stanford with two doubles, five RBI and a stolen base. • Carroll hit a two-RBI single in the top of the ninth inning in game one against Stanford. He led off the 10th inning in game two with a single and scored the game-winning run. He scored the game-winning run against BYU after being hit by a pitch in the 10th inning. • Freshman Cody Scaggari has played in 16 games (12 starts at shortstop). He is hitting .116 with a triple and a home run. • Junior Biss Larsen has played in eight games with two starts this season. • Freshman Bret Helton, who can both pitch and play infield for Utah, has appeared in six games (one start). He made his first appearance on the mound in game two against Arizona, pitching one inning.
Outfield Notes
• Senior Tyler Relf has reached base in all but one game this year. He is hitting .215 on the year and is tied for the team lead with two triples.
